Join GAACC for Yoga in the Park!

Join us on September 19th for yoga in the park led by Cara Smith, owner of The Yoga Mermaid, at the second edition of the new Women's Club Wellness Meetups series. Cara will provide some education on water and how to deepen our relationship to water on a daily basis, as well as mermaids what they represent. You will then be guided through a 45-minute, all-levels yoga flow that is centered around water and mermaids.

Don't forget to bring your yoga mat and a water bottle!

Please note that this event is open only to paid GAACC members with current and active memberships (Premier-level, Executive-level, and Professional-level members as well as Community Partners and paid Individual-level members). Learn more about membership.

Cara is a movement and lifestyle guide in Austin, Texas and owner of The Yoga Mermaid. She is now so excited to be offering: MerMagical Experiences! Build your own MerMagical Experience by choosing one, some, or all of the following: private yoga instruction, water education & rituals, mermaid tails for you + your guests to wear & learn to swim in at your next event, and/or a professional mermaid performance. All of these options are offered for all age groups! Thank you to The Yoga Mermaid for hosting the Women's Club!

About the GAACC Women’s Club

The Women's Club is a dynamic group of leaders who grow and learn from each other. The Club meets on the second Thursday of every other month for an hour and a half to eat amazing food from one of our community restaurant members, enjoy a presentation that is inspiring, educational, and fun on a rotational topic of choice, and network with each other to strengthen our relationships. The GAACC Women's Club is led by our 2024 GAACC Women's Club Captain, Aileen Yu.

We'll meet at "The Monkey Tree" in Zilker Park which is right across from Wright Field (602 Azie Morton Rd, Austin, TX 78704) adjacent to the eastern entrance to Barton Springs Pool. There are parking lots nearby.
