Women's Heart Health - Go Red for Women!

Kimberly Wright will discuss women's heart health and the American Heart Association's initiatives, including the Go Red for Women campaign. Over their 100-year history, the American Heart Association has fought heart disease and stroke and helped families and communities thrive. The price of cardiovascular disease is high - 1 in 3 Americans will pay that price with their life. AHA's mission is to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives.

Join us on August 14th! Women's Club events are free to paid GAACC members and cost just $15 for non-members.

Kimberly Wright is the Development Director for Go Red for Women®. Go Red for Women is the American Heart Association’s signature initiative to raise awareness that heart disease is women’s greatest health threat and to empower them to take action to lower their risk.

About the GAACC Women’s Club

The Women's Club is the GAACC's monthly member meetup where woman-identified leaders in the community come together to share a meal at one of our member restaurants while enjoying a leadership presentation or talk. The meetups usually last an hour and a half, with the first 30 minutes dedicated to networking and the next hour for the presentation. Other than these leadership lunches, we also host periodic wellness events where the focus is on women's physical and mental health. The GAACC Women's Club is led by our 2025 GAACC Women's Club Captain, Saamiya Seraj, co-founder of A Better Force.
