My Coding Place is a STEM studio in North Central Austin that opened in 2018. We teach coding to ages 5+ including adults and we impart skills to solve problems with digital solutions! We teach digital safety, citizenship and literacy and promote the value of innovation. We lead virtual and in-person classes, worskhops and camps at our studio and in the community at Austin area schools and community centers. We specialize in teaching problem-solving and critical thinking through technology. Our teachers introduce students to hot topics, using a variety of platforms to train the next generation of innovators.
We are always looking for partners to help us reach more kids with STEM. We have also taught Tech Fundamentals to Ages 55+ and tutored adults attending coding bootcamps. Current partners are AISD, St. Michaels, Meridian, City of Lakeway, GT school in Georgetown, and WAYA.
