In this fun and informative atmosphere, you will learn about Japan's investment dynamics in the United States, hear success stories, create connections, and cultivate opportunities for business.
This seminar takes place during the 2024 Oita Japan Summer Festival in the Rollins Studio Theatre at The Long Center.

The Austin-Oita Sister City Committee (AOSCC) hosts the event to celebrate Austin's Japanese Sister City, Oita.
This family-friendly festival will include Japanese food and drink, kids' activities, cultural education and more. Attendees will experience JPOP, Japanese drumming, Rakugo Japanese comedy, Japanese shodo dance calligraphy, modern-rock shamisen Japanese guitar, dancing, sumo, martial arts, kendo, jyuku, kyudo, tea ceremony, kimono dressing, doing business in Japan and making sushi seminars, a talk on Japanese gardening, and an artisan and festival marketplace. The featured performers are from our sister city of Oita, Japan.
Doors open at 10:45 AM. Performances begin at 11 AM.
