Impact & Insight: Central Texas Asian Impact Project Public Launch

Thursday, September 7, 2023 (5:00 PM - 7:00 PM) (CDT)

Description

Did you know Central Texas' Asian population nearly doubled in the past decade?

The social and economic impact of Asian American Pacific Islanders (AAPIs) in Central Texas is undeniable. These diverse communities add talent and innovation, buying power, and dynamic cultural expression to our region. As we will explore, this impact is just beginning.

Join the Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce (GAACC) on September 7th for Impact & Insight - the public launch and discussion of the Central Texas Asian Impact Project (CTAIP). Meet with community and civic leaders. Plug into our growing network of Knowledge Partners. Grow your insights about the demographic, civic, and economic impact of these critical and growing communities.

This event is free and open to the public.

About the Impact Project

The Central Texas Asian Impact Project aims to highlight and engage the burgeoning Asian community in Greater Austin. Austin's charm lies in its eclectic diversity and dynamic spirit, with the rapidly growing Asian community an essential part of its colorful tapestry.

But who are these vibrant individuals? Where do they contribute their skills and passions? How are they shaping the economics of our region? What are their aspirations for the future? These are just a few of the questions this multi-phase, multi-faceted project aims to answer. Learn more about this initiative

Knowledge Partners

It takes a village to achieve the work of the Central Texas Asian Impact Project. With the Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce serving in its established role as a “superconnector,” an Ecosystem of Knowledge is forming around the initiative. None of this work would be possible without the assistance and expertise of the individuals, organizations, and companies who join this important effort.
