Join us in partnership with the Austin Japan Community (AJC) and Q-Branch for a special 1-hour presentation featuring local Japanese restaurants, businesses, and a special panel talking about cross-cultural business etiquette that fosters meaningful connections.

In this fun and informative atmosphere, you will hear success stories, create connections, explore opportunities and gain key cultural insights that build bridges for success. 

This session takes place during the 2026 Oita Japan Summer Festival, a half-day cultural celebration filled with Japanese performances, cultural activities, and local food vendors.

About The 2026 Oita Japan Summer Festival

The Austin-Oita Sister City Committee (AOSCC) hosts this annual event to celebrate Austin's Japanese Sister City: Oita.

This family-friendly festival will include Japanese food and drink, kids' activities, cultural education and more. Attendees will experience authentic Japanese food and drinks, live performances including music, dance, and martial arts, cultural demonstrations such as tea ceremony and calligraphy, and a curated marketplace featuring unique goods, Japan Business Insights & Community and much much more.
