Shining a Light on Islamophobia

Description

From governments to institutions to the media, there is a systematic erasure of pro-Muslim voices and the tendency to dehumanize AMEMSA communities (Arab, Middle-Eastern, Muslim, and South Asian communities). With Islamophobia on the rise across the world, this workshop is designed to analyze the various components to Islamophobia, so we can learn how to break the layer of invisibility and counter the stereotyping and discrimination of Muslims and Islam.
