About Our Presenter

Kim Pollok – Chief Executive Officer, SWBC Payroll + HR
"Lessons From My Professional Journey"

Kim Pollok is the CEO of SWBC Payroll + HR, where her journey began in January 2010 as a Human Resources Consultant in the Employee Benefits division. Her pivotal role in SWBC’s acquisition of the Payroll + HR division in January 2011 marked a major turning point, leading to her promotion to Director of Operations and eventually Chief Executive Officer of SWBC Payroll + HR.

With over 25 years of experience in human resources and operations, Kim has led initiatives in talent development, business growth, and client engagement. Before joining SWBC, she managed HR for a contact center with over 2,000 employees, overseeing employee relations, operations, and leadership development.

Kim holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources from the University of the Incarnate Word. She is actively involved in the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations (NAPEO), EO San Antonio, Austin Business Woman, Texas Women in Business, and EO Austin. She is a member of the New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce, Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, Austin Chamber of Commerce, and Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce and the Taylor Chamber of Commerce. She also founded Women Supporting Women in Texas Business (WSW TX), a group dedicated to empowering women-owned and operated businesses through networking and shared knowledge.

She also mentors business students at Texas State University's McCoy College of Business. Most recently, Kim was invited to serve on the Texas Mutual START Appeals Board, where she brings her industry expertise to support fair and informed decision-making for Texas businesses
